Hub

Gear up in the safezone. Take tasks from the boards. Put what you can't afford to lose in your secure container.

Deploy

Pick a landing point from the deploy menu. Your group drops together.

Raid

Loot, fight, do the tasks. Die, and everything except your secure container stays where you fell.

Extract

Stand in an extract for 7 seconds and you are back at the hub with everything you carried out.

Progress

Hand in, sell, stash. Reputation, tasks and skills are permanent. Only the gear is at risk.

Join in three steps#

  1. Own DayZ on PCThe server is free. All you need is DayZ on Steam.
  2. Get the DZSA LauncherFree from dayzsalauncher.com. Search Escape From DayZ in its server list.
  3. Press joinThe launcher downloads every mod for you. The first time takes a while; after that you are in within a minute.

The Lab#

Three floors of underground Terragroup laboratory: the technical level, the main working floor, and the offices and infirmary above. Getting in takes a Lab access keycard. The coloured keycard rooms inside hold the best loot on the server, and opening one sets off an alarm anyone nearby can hear. Logging out in the Lab counts as combat logging: you leave by an extract, or you do not leave.

Priority queue#

When the server is full, the queue decides who gets in next. Priority queue puts you at the front of it, and it switches on by itself after checkout. Nothing in the store changes the game once you are in: no gear, no money, no reputation, ever.
